The Apostle Peter inspired by the Spirit of Jesus linked what happened on Pentecost [50 days after Jesus was raised at Passover] with Joel’s prophecy about the end times. They were all with one accord in one place by the time Pentecost had fully come.
It is imperative right now with 7 days left until Pentecost that we His children be in one accord. We are in Christ – Therefore we are already in ONE PLACE. So together we can be of the same mind at this time. What mind is that? The disciples were told by Jesus not to depart Jerusalem until they had received the Promise which He would send.
Lu 24: 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”
So the “one accord” mindset is a mind set on RECEIVING POWER FROM ON HIGH. Yes I am aware that Pentecost happened back then and every year since. Nevertheless God still does things according to the pattern of His appointed feast days given to Israel in the wilderness….and we also play a part in being open and expectant receivers.
This week be in prayer about receiving the out-poured Spirit of God UPON ALL FLESH. Expect God to embrace you with the Holy Spirit this coming Pentecost.
Acts 2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Peter told the crowd
But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘Andit shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
21 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.’
The rushing mighty noisy wind out from the heavens–the spiritual realm- FILLED THE WHOLE HOUSE where they were sitting in one accord. As I said above–we are all inside of Jesus Christ and as such are His body and also the House of God. God desires to fill our whole house again with His rushing mighty wind. Out of that experience will begin a mighty harvest of souls as the WHOEVER begin calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
I said His whole name because many are calling on different Lords in order to be saved….there are many Lords and gods, but ONLY one Saviour of all men–The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth – the son of the living God.
Those disciples in that upper room long ago knew that there was NO WAY that they could evangelise their world UNLESS GOD GAVE THEM SOMETHING FROM HEAVEN.
Haven’t you felt inadequate lately? Has this lock-down and oppressive control from the world system eaten away at your faith? God is in the HOUSE!!
God shall pour out of His Spirit upon your flesh and release the abilities of the Spirit in your life, according to your calling in God so that those around you in your sphere are touched by Jesus Christ and set free!!
We have a rushing wind heading our way in the natural 7 days before Pentecost as I type. Ex Tropical cyclone Maanga has formed and moved south to join with a sub tropical low pressure system which is a very rare occurrence.
And in Swahili maanga means: clear transparent water!!
Zech 10:1 Ask the Lord for rain
In the time of the latter rain.
The Lord will make flashing clouds;
He will give them showers of rain,
Grass in the field for everyone.

Jo 7:37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
