Knowing God is a two-way thing if we are false with ourself we cannot know the true God.
God our Father is who he is….real..true…but we are not able to know Father without Jesus in our hearts.
Of course from the moment we are born again we begin to know the Father and might think we do know him. And who am I to say you do not know Father?
Jesus said no one knows Father…
“….no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
That is pretty conclusive.
NO ONE KNOWS THE FATHER EXCEPT THE SON!
A lot of people claim to know God, but they do not believe in Jesus Christ. The verdict out of Jesus own mouth is – ‘They do not know the Father(God) if they have not got Me.’
And no one knows the son except the Father.
The two know one another for they are in a symmorphic relationship together. Two sharing the same form..
Rom 8:29a Because those whom He pro-knows, that is, whom He knows inside Himself as part of Himself, He also pro-determined them symmorphosed with the image of His Son, JSV draft
Jesus knows Father–Father knows Jesus….this is what Jesus always said when He said things like…
John 14:9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
Seen me seen Father- I am inside Father- Father is inside me – Father dwells inside me- I am inside Father and Father inside me. WOW!
Jesus told them to BELIEVE THIS OF HIM.
Believe that FATHER IS INSIDE HUMAN JESUS….SO THAT IF YOU SEE JESUS YOU SEE FATHER GOD.
Friend it is exactly the same for us who have believed in Jesus!!
We have been brought into JESUS THROUGH FAITH WHICH HE GRANTED US. Jesus wants us to know His Father and Father wants us to know Jesus.
We want to know Father and Jesus too!
That means that the enemy will try to stop us ever knowing them as they are. He has successfully stopped most from truly knowing Father and Jesus by sowing lies and imaginations into our hearts that make God far off.
But of course God is not far off. We have always lived inside Him..without knowing it.
