Ok so I am a man and scripture tells me to embrace her.
There is a passage of scripture in Proverbs chapter 4 which speaks about wisdom in the feminine sense in chapter 8 wisdom is spoken of as male but in chapter 4 wisdom is a woman and Solomon encourages us to embrace wisdom and he says that she will be an ornament of Grace upon your head and so how do we do this?
Therefore get wisdom.
And in all your getting, get understanding.
8Exalt her, and she will promote you;
She will bring you honour, when you embrace her.
9She will place on your head an ornament of grace;
A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”
If you’re a man and you have a female partner or if you have a wife I encourage you to embrace her and she will be like an ornament of Grace upon your head.
So often I have neglected my wife to my own detriment and a few days ago the Holy Spirit spoke this word to me and I did not realise what he meant by it I understand now and it has been a beautiful repentance that has taken place in me
We have been married since 1996 we have three grown children who no longer live with us and so it’s easy to get caught up in my job and her to get caught up in her interests and her work …she teaches Pilates as well as being a medical nurse and I drive long haul trucks.
God has been showing me and it happened in a spontaneous way that I should embrace what my wife does and so for the first time in 3 years I got on the Pilates reformer and did a session of pilates with my instructor wife and then again the next day. I did another session with her instructing me to her great joy in a pilates session or an hour each time.
It touched her heart it filled her with Joy that I was finally embracing what she does instead of always being the one who had to embrace what I do so I apologised after the second session with tears and both of us had a cry as I have finally humbled myself by God’s Grace to embrace my other half in what she does. And you know we made love that night and it was completely different than the last 27 years or so there was a new Union a new closeness between us… so embrace your wife she will be as an ornament of Grace upon your head and God will give you favour as you did dwell with her with understanding as the weaker vessel… humble yourself and embrace what she does
Of course there are other things that we need to embrace in our lives as well things that we have not been in embracing.. our job suffering .frustrations all those things I could get very preachy and push it but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about in your own life
