When the Father wants to get a message across to us He uses repetition, saying the same thing in different ways over and over.
Isa 46:3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb:
Isa 46:4 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to grey hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.
1. UPHELD BY ME FROM BIRTH
2. CARRIED FROM THE WOMB
3. CARRIED EVEN TO YOUR OLD AGE
4. EVEN TO GRAY HAIRS I WILL CARRY YOU
5. I WILL BEAR YOU
6. EVEN I WILL CARRY YOU!
Six times in two verses our Father either tells us directly or in an implied way that He carries us. Why does He repeat it over and over?
BECAUSE WE FORGET!
God knows He carries us–but we forget He does. Feelings and the sight of the eyes are very convincing “proof” that God does not and is not carrying us.
Rom 3:3 For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?
Rom 3:4 Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar…..
God is forever faithful to you. He is carrying you. He is upholding you EVEN if your feelings say it is not true. God is faithfully bearing you up on His strong arms. We need to remind ourselves daily and give thanks to Father that He is carrying us.
Father thank you for upholding me today and always. Thank you for bearing me up and carrying me. You have carried me from the womb and You shall continue carrying me all my days. Thank you Father–in Jesus name, Amen.
