Jesus urges us to COME INTO HIM and REST INSIDE of His relationship with FATHER for only He knows the Father and knowing Father inside of Jesus heart, inside of your heart, is true and pure REST.
Mat 11:27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
Where is Jesus Christ? He is inside your heart happily dwelling as you.
Where is Father? Father is dwelling as one with Jesus inside every particle of Jesus’ being.
Why did Jesus stop and say, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”? Because all people DO NOT KNOW REST, BECAUSE ONLY HE[JESUS]knows FATHER inside of His heart.
Jesus’ whole mission was to REVEAL FATHER to a people who sat in darkness.
The whole problem of mankind is that we do not KNOW FATHER.
“...and no one knows the Father..”
In not knowing Father, we have invented another story of a fake father. We tell ourselves that we are responsible to be like Jesus, thus we imagine that we are our own source and have our own life with which to serve God.
Father is the upwelling and source of life of all created things and yet we do not know Him.
The Son JESUS knows Him, He alone knows Father. No one else does.
Yet this same Jesus, THE SON OF THE FATHER, has come forth with Father in His heart, to REVEAL this same Father to all.
“No one has seen or looked upon God, ever, at any time, the One-Seed God, existing in the bosom of the Father, He has led [Him] forth into unfolding, into becoming known .” [John 1:16-18 Jesus Secret Version]
REVEAL = ἀποκαλύπτω = to take off the cover, that is, disclose: – reveal.

Jesus wills to REVEAL FATHER to you. To take the cover off of what is already there. But we first must come to Jesus.
And keep coming.
Jesus knows the rest of Father.
This is how He described Himself.
The Son can do NOTHING OF HIMSELF. Of mine own self I can do nothing!
Yet the one not knowing FATHER as his/her source strives to do things. Thus we are weary and heavy laden.
Have we come to the place where we totally accept and know that of mine own self I can DO NOTHING?
Or are we still striving to please God?…>>Mantra>>don’t be bad, try to be good today<<
Jesus cannot reveal to your heart and mine that FATHER carries all, Father is the source of all, Father is your only life and being….UNTIL!!!
UNTIL WE COME TO THAT PLACE OF HAVING CEASED FROM OUR OWN WORKS.
The more you strive to please God as if God is up there in the sky watching your performance….the more you cover His abiding presence inside your heart with veils.
The blindest people on Earth are those trying so hard to be like Jesus.
REPENT!!
Heb 4:9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.
Heb 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Heb 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
Unless we leave all our old story of self behind and accept Jesus as our ONLY LIFE we shall not ever enter HIS REST.
They failed to enter the Promised land, the REST promised to them, because they thought they were responsible of their own selves, to defeat the Giants. They could not see that God was with them.
But we have this treasure of Father inside our earthen vessels dont we? We do, if we have Jesus Christ in our heart, then we have Father. Father inside Jesus, Jesus inside you, and you inside Jesus.
“You, however, see Me; because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am inside of My Father, and you inside of Me and I inside of you.” John 14:19-20 JSV
