What God has cleansed

“But a voice from heaven answered a second time, ‘What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.’

Act 11:9 nasb

It must be said –What God has cleansed we are not to consider or to declare unclean! What God has made holy, we are not to make unholy by considering it to be unholy. What God has made edible, we are not to consider it to be inedible.

In the same way Paul said

Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Romans 6:11 nasb

And again…..

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

2Co 5:16

The commandment of God is clear. Do not consider or think and regard ANYONE as being unclean.

That means when you call yourself a sinner, you are not lining up your thoughts with God’s thoughts about you.

It means that when you call others and think of others who are not yet believers as being unclean sinners…..then once again, you are not lined up with God’s mind towards them.

God HAS CLEANSED ALL by the ONE sacrifice for sins forever made in Jesus Christ–the Saviour of all men, especially those who believe.

When we view ourselves as unclean, we have created a fake separation between ourself and Father. We shall never come near to Him while we hold such a view of ourselves.

Again…when we view others as being unclean(which we automatically do if we view ourself as unclean)then we have separated them from God which is not true at all.

God has reconciled all to Himself inside of Christ Jesus. He HAS cleansed all….present tense.

What remains is for those “all” to receive and accept what was done for them….hence the need to preach the Gospel to all.

There is no separation in reality between anyone and Father. It is only on our side that we see and believe we are separated. This is through unbelief and refusal to call HOLY what God has made HOLY through the blood of His Son.

You ARE HOLY. ALL ARE HOLY!! Praise be to Jesus forever more!

Rom 5:18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

Rom 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many(all) were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many(all) will be made righteous.

Because all were in God’s mind from the outset, all were included in Christ on the cross. If One died for all, then all died! And if all died, then all shall be made alive inside the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

But how does this occur?

As we consider and agree with God calling all clean and holy, and loving them as we love ourselves, then those who are opposing themselves, calling themselves sinners and separated from God, shall soften and receive Him and us.

Receive yourself as being risen from the dead and alive unto God.

In the same fashion…receive one another …even those who are blinded still and in unbelief. They have been cleansed by Jesus sacrifice….They are Holy unto the Lord even though they say and think otherwise.

God in you is loving them into Himself. It was the same for you and for me…..
