My Word that goes forth

Our Father is one very determined person. He rests fully inside the certain knowledge that His Word shall not fail. We know that His Word is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Jesus is the very Word of Father made flesh.

Yet also that same Word, Jesus,  is now manifested as you and me. You are the Word made flesh, who dwells among humanity. That is not heresy, that is good news.

And as I said God is resting in the certainty that His WORD…you and me…shall not fail.

Isa 55:11  So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. NKJV

Isa 55:11  So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. Amplified

Many use this verse to preach prosperity. They are free to do whatever they want with God’s Word.

Jesus is the Word that goes forth from Father’s mouth. He shall not return to Father, void, useless or without result.

The verse here says His Word shall not “return to Me” void.

Now, because of our earthly perspective on things, we may imagine that God is sending his Word out from Himself, as if it has travelled a long way from Him…the Source of all things. We may then imagine without even realising it, that we have applied such vain imagination to Jesus. After all did not Jesus say in John 16:28  “I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”??

We have imagined that Father is up there…out there somewhere far away….in a place called heaven. Jesus came down from Heaven….then He went back up to heaven where Father is. ??? This is a very childish way to see things.  The result of seeing things in this way is to live in separation from God.

Jesus is always inside the Father

Jesus coming forth from the Father is a continuous action. He is always coming forth from the Father, even as a spring of living water is always bubbling forth in purity and strength. Jesus is always circulating out from and into Father, even as He rests and abides inside Father.

Jesus–The Word that proceeds and goes forth from the mouth of Father is always accomplishing that purpose of Father for which He sent Him.

Now it does not look like we are bearing fruit. Many struggle with the whole bearing fruit thing. Most Christians think that the only legitimate fruit God is interested in is ‘souls saved’ or ‘people healed’, etc etc. But fruit are those things listed by Paul in Galatians 5– the fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. And of course we cannot bear fruit of ourselves, but Jesus living in us, joined as O/one spirit with us is issuing forth and bubbling up as rivers of living water continuously–WHETHER WE FEEL HIM OR NOT. Whether we are “prayed up” or not..whether we are praised up or not!..God is a very present help in time of need. Very present…always present.

Therefore God is always accomplishing His good pleasure in us and through us and as us. He is always causing us to will and do for good pleasure. WE may thing about our boring day at our job or whatever we do…and imagine that it amounts to nothing..This is not the case…for as our text in Isaiah 55 says His Word is like the rain and the snow that goes forth and accomplishes His will. We are living inside that Word…and That Word is living and abiding inside of you and me. MARVELLOUS!!

You have been joined together inside Jesus with Father….and He has sown you into the place that you find yourself to be….your family, your job, your school, etc…and you are accomplishing Father’s purpose whether you think you are or not. You shall not return to Father void. Faith believes this to be so. Unbelief demands proof. This is where the religious spirit gets in and robs many of their rest. They are forced to do this and that for God in an effort to produce what they think are suitable fruits for God. Remember Mary sitting at Jesus feet. She was abiding in Jesus…while Martha was not abiding, but working to produce fruit.

But in all this we do not receive condemnation to ourselves. Wherever we are at in all this with Jesus living in us….we are His manifestation to the world. Whether busy, working, striving in unbelief, trying to get where we already are by our efforts….the bottom line is that He has us inside Himself. We are safe in Jesus.
