Here are some quick words on different topics to encourage

Will God forgive me?

The Good News is that on the Cross Jesus took all your sins and died under their penalty so that you should not have to. You are forgiven …not because God decides whether He will forgive you or not…but because it was ALREADY GOD’S purpose and desire to forgive you and everyone else from before the foundation of the world. Jesus’ death and resurrection is why and how God HAS already forgiven you…you just need to believe it and speak it in faith….like…”Father thank you that I am forgiven all my sins because Jesus died for me.”
That voice is the accuser who does not like grace. God freely forgives you without you having to try to be good enough. Receiving that forgiveness is hard for our pride. But receive it we must.
Look at Col 2:13….and Ephesians 2:8 and romans 5:8…and many more.

Feeling like a loser

 It’s a battle I know well mate. God is still with you brother, still holding you, still comforting your brokenness. God—your Father is always bearing you up brother…He took all your shame upon Himself in Jesus already…ALREADY. He has removed your sins from you as far as the east is from the west….He says to you Ian…your sins and your lawless deeds I will remember NO MORE….So you know what that means? That means that every time your sins overwhelm you to drown you in shame and condemnation it is NOT God doing it….it is the Accuser of the brethren, who accuses us day and night before the throne….the throne is YOUR heart, that is where God sits enthrones brother….upon the mercy seat of your blood washed heart. And the Accuser quite rightly says, “Ian has failed to keep the Law!!..condemn him God!!”….But God takes no heed to him, for every thing that was contrary to us, and that was against us He has taken away and has nailed it to the cross!!
you –IAN GRANTHAM—ARE A NEW CREATURE IN CHRIST!! OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY–BEHOLD IAN IS TOTALLY NEW…every day, every moment NEW!! His blood is always cleansing Ian..always making you new….you just need to see it…to speak it…and overcome the accuser by the word of your testimony.

Walking with God?

I walk with God by being me. Galatians 2:20 is reality.
The original lie was: (and still is) “you will be like God” if you eat of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The truth was that they ALREADY were like God!
But Satan fooled them into rejecting their humanity–which was God’s image and likeness–convincing them that they must do something to be like God—even though they were already like Him.
Religion comes out of the same lie.
Viewing yourself as separated from God, needing to do some good things and not do any bad things…so that you will one day be like God….utter deception!!
You died on the cross—that old you…the one who would be like God.
The new you is one with Jesus inside your pure heart….and Jesus is the image and likeness of God…the brightness of His glory….yet a man. And He lives in you….and more…He lives AS YOU…you just being you…is Jesus REVEALED.
