Make no covenant with Nahash

On Monday the 27th my wife was afflicted with some kind of eye problem in her right eye. It was like the onset of migraine which she does NOT suffer with. The only other time that she had a migraine I prayed for her and immediately sensed powers of darkness were involved attacking her. This is also what happened on Monday here. And like the time before prayer and Jesus authority got totally rid of the head pain.

But as so many times, God speaks through these events if we have ears to hear and eyes to see.

That same day I was having some funny feelings in my right eye as well before I found out my wife had to leave her work and come home.

I had also posted a warning to those who destroy babies in the fire to Moloch last Saturday 25th at 0844 WST here in Australia as part of a prayer campaign against the Burning Man festival in Nevada.

My wife’s episode happened about 2:30pm Monday 27th WST and then the next day(28th) I felt an attack upon my head at the same time of 14:30hrs.

As we prayed and thought about this attack upon us I remembered that the Lord Jesus said “If your right eye offends you pluck it out” in Matt 5:29.

I did a search on the right eye and found this obscure story.

1 Sam 11:1 Then Nahash the Ammonite came up and encamped against Jabesh Gilead; and all the

men of Jabesh said to Nahash, “Make a covenant with us, and we will serve you.”

²And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, “On this condition

I will make a covenant with you, that I may put out all your right eyes, and bring reproach on all Israel.”

Nahash means –SERPENT a snake- from its hiss. The word first appears in the Garden in Genesis when God speaks of the serpent being more subtle than any other creature. So Nahash the King is representative of the subtle Serpent who deceived Eve(the church) into focusing upon the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil…a tree which leads to DEATH, THEFT AND DESTRUCTION!!

The men of Jabesh Gilead had offered to make a covenant with the Serpent King Nahash because he had besieged their city. And being crafty and subtle Nahash, whose name has the root meaning of “enchantment and to whisper a spell” says “on this condition”….that I may “put out your right eyes and bring reproach upon Israel”.

There is a false King(god) who would have us to serve him.

There is a false King who uses war against us to encircle us with FEAR. He besieges us with FEAR of JUDGEMENT so that we will make a covenant with him…with the Serpent Nahash.

Fear of judgement, fear of being left behind and fear of missing the kingdom is used against God’s people by the SERPENT through the mouths of preachers. This has the effect of moving them out of simple grace into fearful law keeping –which leads to DEATH–Being stolen from, being killed spiritually and being destroyed in their soul—lost.

He wants to put out your right eye.

What is the right eye?

It is the single eye which sees only Jesus. The single eye is the mind of Christ. It is the eye of faith with which we know ourself only in Jesus and nowhere else. It is not the divided eye that sees the Law and Jesus..and me and Jesus as separate things. A single eye is the eye that sees UNION WITH JESUS IN FATHER. That Divided eye is really just that same old tree which destroyed us all.

Matt 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

Matt 6:23 But if thine eye be evil(divided), thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Seeing the Law as something that we must do is how the evil eye sees things. Seeing with the Left eye is to see only DIVISION between me and God. Those who see that way throw spears at those who choose to walk by faith in UNION with Christ Jesus trusting Him alone with all things to do with themselves. They do not look at themselves and then at Christ to see if they are measuring up to His standard. They see Jesus when they look at themselves. They see perfection and completion and righteousness and true holiness!!! This is seeing with the RIGHT EYE.

Nahash the Serpent –a RELIGIOUS SPIRIT wants to bring you back under the Old Covenant system of law and obedience.

Matt 18:9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee:

it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye,

rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell(Gehenna) fire.

Having ONE EYE is to have a SINGLE eye. The eye that causes you to stumble into sin and be offended is the Evil Eye of Matthew 6:23 It is that Eye–or way of thinking that sees all things as separate from myself. It still sees self as the old creation –a forgiven one, but still the old one. Whereas Paul clearly said that WE NO LONGER KNOW ANY MAN ACCORDING TO THE FLESH.

2Cor 5:16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh.

Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

The Eye that scandalizes us and others is the EYE OF THE SERPENT. Nahash the evil king wants us to see things as he sees things. That eye has been crucified with Christ when the “I” that we were died with Him. We now have Jesus as our I…for we are ONE SPIRIT with Him….we have ONE mind….the mind of Christ….ONE EYE…that sees all and regards all according to the SPIRIT of reconciliation.

We do not put ourselves above others for Christ is our life and His life is a Life that serves others, loves others, blesses others according to the LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN HIM.

The Religious spirit in the Church today is seeking and has always been seeking to keep God’s children seeing with SERPENT EYES. But God is revealing the perfect UNION He has made us to be in Jesus His Son. And the more we see the UNION that we ARE the more we become like little children who see as He does.

In that day you will know that I am in My Father and you in Me and I in you. John 14:20

Knowing this overwhelming truth and reality of being is the SINGLE EYE….THE ONE EYE….which the NEW I has and is.

So we must stand fast in the GRACE WHICH IS IN Christ Jesus and not be moved back under the heavy yoke of bondage to fear again. We are safe in Jesus alone. If we allow the fear of missing God’s kingdom to besiege our city/heart….we will be enticed by this religious serpent to go back under Law , trusting in our selves to keep the law. This is why Jesus came to set us free….don’t go back! Do not make a covenant with Nahash the Serpent.

What if you are in covenant with Nahash and see all things as he does. Fear not, for your Father will rescue you and give you help in time of need. It will come as a choice for you to make. Choose LIFE and that alone through faith in Jesus alone. Or choose death through law keeping.
