This a public declaration of sorts so that there is no doubt as to where I stand concerning the Law of God. As one who is a citizen of the Kingdom of heaven which is the Kingdom of Jesus Christ I am one who keeps the commandments of God in the faith of Jesus Christ.
Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Rev 14:12 NASB
I am not lawless, nor do I practice lawlessness. I am in Christ Jesus and as such I am under law towards Christ.
21 …to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;
The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the Law of sin and death. In Christ I am set free through death and made a new creature in Him through resurrection by faith. The Law of Moses was binding upon my old man but my old man could and can never please God through law keeping.
Thus God made a new covenant whereby He HAS written His law and statutes upon my inner man–my new creation man. Thus I am under law towards Christ for Christ is my head and I am His body.
I do not try to be made righteous by looking at the Law as something outward that I must try to obey, some written list of laws. But I abide in Jesus Christ who is the perfect fulfillment of His own Law and in abiding in Him I AM LAWFUL.
I agree with God in saying that the Law is good and just and holy.
I agree that all sin is debt and all sin is lawlessness.
I agree also with God that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus not by works which I have done but by the free gift of the indwelling Christ Jesus my Lord.
My garments are Jesus Christ.
My heart is the heart of Jesus Christ.
My mind is the mind of Christ.
My purpose is the purpose of Christ.
My life is the Life of Christ.
I am firmly rooted and planted in the Kingdom of God ONLY by the GRACE that is Christ Jesus dwelling in me.
I do not set aside the grace of God by looking at the Law as a separate thing from myself which I must try to obey. The Lord God and His Holy Law are my delight for I delight in the law of God according to the INNER MAN.
Which of you accuses me according to the Law of God?
I am as He is in this world.
I died to the Law and now live according to the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus.
Thus according to that new and living way I have ALL AUTHORITY OVER ALL THE POWERS OF DARKNESS AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HARM ME. I am in Christ Jesus and shall never be forsaken by Him for how can He forsake His own which He paid for with His own blood?
I am a lawful citizen abiding in a new country, honouring my King and Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
