Jesus my Wonderful Saviour

Maybe I am being a bit silly writing this, but you know what I don’t really care what anyone thinks. You see, I am a man. I work in a trucking yard with other men…manly men. Yet Jesus is real in me and He also is a manly man.

Love does not know fear. Love is Jesus’ heart and his heart dwells in all those who have received Him.

This Saviour that I call mine loves me more than you can imagine. This God who left the comfort of the spirit realm to enter into my world of suffering and lost-ness. This Father who saw me, his lost sheep wandering aimlessly through the wilderness of this world and pursued me with unfailing faithfulness. Amazing grace! A God Who seeks lost sheep to pick them up on his shoulder and carry them home. That is what He has done for me and will do for all people.

Jesus died for us that the accusations of the Law which were piled up to heaven against us might be fully answered. Every sin was laid upon Jesus who gladly bore all for you because of the Father’s love for you. The Father loves you just as He loves Jesus. You are the object of His amazing love and He is pursuing you as you struggle along in the wilderness way.

Yes this Father is not far away from you up in a heaven faraway…He is with you!! You just need to acknowledge Jesus God’s Savior sent to save you. You are wandering along thinking you are alone and without any hope BUT there is a Father who lives and loves for YOU. He has not abandoned you though it seems that way….He is near you —even with you right now.

You might be like Peter the fisherman who when Jesus sat in his boat and blessed him with a big catch of fish suddenly became aware of all his sinfulness and cried out to Jesus to, “Go away from me Lord for I am a sinful man!!“(Luke 5:8) And what did Jesus say to Peter in his fear and shame? “DO NOT BE AFRAID. FROM NOW ON YOU WILL CATCH MEN.”

We have the wrong idea about God my friend. Do not be afraid of God. He is your Father and his intentions for you are good. He has forgiven you all your trespasses and cleansed you of all your sins and will transform you into a new creation who loves him or herself and out of that love for self will also naturally love others.

This wonderful Savior will not ever reject you and turn you away…so come to Him in your heart the best way you can. Tell Jesus you need Him right now. Tell Him you want Him to come live in your heart.

“If you really love me, you will keep the commandments I have given you and I shall ask the Father to give you someone else to stand by you, to be with you always. I mean the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, for it can neither see nor recognise that Spirit. But you recognise him, for he is with you now and will be in your hearts. I am not going to leave you alone in the world—I am coming to you. In a very little while, the world will see me no more but you will see me, because I am really alive and you will be alive too. When that day come, you will realise that I am in my Father, that you are in me, and I am in you.”

Oh lost sheep —The Shepherd is searching for you! To the strong Jesus is far off—-but to the weak He is near.

Think about that.

bless you!

Dennis
