It is amazing how the blinkers blind us from what the Bible clearly says. When we have preconceived ideas about God’s Salvation we have already decided how many people are going to be saved. Yet Scripture clearly tells us that Jesus is the Savior of all men, yes, especially those who believe.
1Ti 4:10 For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.
What is that saying? Just what it says friend. God is the Savior of all men especially those who believe. That means that all men shall believe and be saved at some point. You cannot be the Savior of all men and NOT save all men. If you are not going to save all men then you cannot call Yourself the Savior of all men can you? No you cannot.
Yes I know that we all see many people die who have not come to believe in Jesus Christ, doesn’t that mean they are lost forever? This one verse should give you hope that God will indeed grant them faith in Jesus or He is not the Savior of all men as Paul called Him by inspiration.
Well that presents some conundrums doesn’t it friend? What about the age old teaching of eternal punishment in Hell? Yes exactly, what about that teaching? Is it true? Or is it false? Of course I believe it is false and the aim of my writings is to persuade you to believe in the Good News that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all men–especially of those who believe.
How can you say all are saved?
Jesus Himself told us that all shall come to Him.
Joh 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
Joh 12:32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw(1670/helkuo) all peoples to Myself.“
And we know that no man can come to Jesus unless the Father draws them.
Joh 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws(1670/helkuo) him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
So we can deduce from those two verses that it is the Father’s WILL to draw ALL people to Jesus so that they can be raised up at the last day…it is Father’s good pleasure to do this…For..
Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. KJV
God WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED. That is God’s will, not an empty wish or desire as many versions render it. It is Father’s will to save all men and to do that He must DRAW or helkuo all men to Jesus granting them repentance and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ.
You say, “but God gave us free will and He will not go against our free will, so therefore only some are saved“.
Let me show you what DRAW ALL MEN looks like.

means: to drag (literally or figuratively): – draw. Compare G1667.

Who is more powerful? The fish or the winches and engine that drag in the net?
Who is stronger? Man with his free will or God Who will have all men to be saved?
Those fish look like they DO NOT WANT TO BE CAUGHT...but the fisherman don’t care about their objections do they. Those fisherman determined in their minds that they were going to find “lost” free-will-fish out there in the ocean and they were going to catch them by drawing and dragging those fish to themselves.
That is exactly what helkuo helko means in the context of John 12:32 and John 6:44.
God shall not lose any—but shall save all–by drawing all and dragging all to Jesus. God also is a clever and determined fisherman. He knows how to catch fish and has the strength of LOVE to drag those fish to Himself.
Thayer adds an extra meaning of Helkuo…Thayer Definition:
1) to draw, drag off
2) metaphorically, to draw by inward power, lead, impel
How wonderful is that?! To draw by inward power!! IMPEL!! LEAD!!! I tell you friend God does all this by His saving power which is at work in all people. He is leading them inexorably to faith in Jesus. He is impelling them to come to Jesus…He is drawing and dragging all people by inward power. God shall not lose anyone for all are being dragged to Jesus in God’s LOVE NET!
