In this fourth part we continue to look at Hell teachings. In the previous post we saw the first 9 times Jesus is said to say the word Hell when in FACT he does not use a word which literally means what most think is Hell but Jesus speaks of Gehenna and Hades. The translators decided themselves that Gehenna and Hades, two completely different Greek words with different meanings should both be translated as Hell. That is not translation work but interpretation. They have decided for every reader since 1611 that Gehenna and Hades figuratively means Hell.
Remember the English word Hell actually simply means to cover over, as in hell your potatoes.
Let me give another example to show how stupid that was for them to do.
In Revelation 11:8 we are told “And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.”
It is obvious that spiritually speaking Jerusalem is Sodom and Egypt. If we are DIRECTLY TOLD the FIGURATIVE MEANING of Jerusalem then why didn’t the translators of the Holy Bible change the word Jerusalem for Sodom every time it appears in Scripture? Yet they have changed the word Gehenna and Hades and also Tartarus to the word Hell because they themselves deemed those 3 words to be spiritually speaking of Hell.

In every occurrence it is rendered as Hell!!
To be consistent the translators should render Jerusalem as Sodom…or at least Egypt or even as both every time it is mentioned in the Bible.
No where in the entire Bible are we told that Gehenna is Hell but that did not stop the translators from inserting their own definition. Yet we are very clearly told in Rev 11:8 that the place where our Lord was crucified is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt.
Mat 23:37 “O Sodom Egypt, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!
Gal 4:25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Sodom Egypt which now is, and is in bondage with her children—
Gal 4:26 but the Sodom Egypt above is free, which is the mother of us all.Psa 125:2 As the mountains surround Sodom Egypt, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.
What if someone translated a Bible that has Jerusalem changed in every instance to Sodom Egypt JUST LIKE the translators changed Gehenna, Hades and Tartarus to Hell in every instance? What if a whole generation(40 years) of readers read that Bible…then another generation and another until we came to about 500 years since they first published their Bible? Millions of believers around the world would have it thoroughly ingrained into their hearts that Jerusalem is Sodom and Egypt…in JUST THE SAME WAY that millions have ingrained in their hearts that Gehenna,Hades and Sheol and Tartarus are Hell.
Oh how dishonest those translators were and O what a tare they sowed into the hearts of millions of people.
But you cannot see what I am saying can you?
You see the word Hell in the Bible and do not question it do you?
You look at the Greek word in Strong’s concordant dictionary and see that it is either Sheol, Gehenna, Hades or tartarus and that Strong and Thayer and Vines and other reknowned theologians say that those words signify, and are figurative for the whole idea of Hell. It was not always that way!! Most in the early church did not believe that those words spoke of a place of eternal punishment at all.
