What an honour to be the one’s who are the soil that the Word is always landing upon. What a joy to receive the Word as rain upon our souls!
Isa 55:10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
Isa 55:11 So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Jesus Christ is the Word that proceeds and comes forth from the Father.
John_16:27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.
John_16:28 I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”
John_17:8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.
We are the earth that the rain falls upon. Our flesh is made from the dust of the earth. And both the earth and the flesh of man were spoken forth by the Father. Jesus is the word that is always coming forth from the Father, creating and sustaining all things.
And just like the rain that waters the earth, the water later evaporating and returning to the heavens, so Jesus returned to the heavens.
“…Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”
Does water begin as water or gas? Visible or invisible? Invisible is first. What was invisible is manifest as visible rain and then becomes invisible again coming together as clouds in the heavens, thus becoming visible again but in a different state than when it was rain.
Jesus never left us
The Word came down as rain and then returned, being caught up into the heavens and hidden from view by the clouds.
This same Jesus- the Word made flesh–made visible-is now hidden from natural sight again…
My life is hidden with Christ in God…Colossians 3. The Word made flesh hidden in the Father Who lives in my heart.
This same Jesus who is the Word coming forth from the Father lives now in the hearts of all those who believe. Thus Jesus is seen and known and touched daily as we go about our lives…
Yet Jesus is still the Word coming forth from the Father in us. In other words Jesus is not the source of life- the Father is.
For there is only one God- The Father.
1Co 8:6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
Therefore it is clear that Jesus is not God, but the Word that proceeds forth from God. Jesus is a Man in full and complete union with God…BUT he is more…and so are we.
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, “THE FIRST MAN ADAM BECAME A LIVING BEING.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Jesus is the last Adam–He is a life giving spirit! This Man who is the Word of God came forth from God and has become a life giving spirit as a Man. He is still a Man sitting at the right hand of the Father. Yet as the Father is everywhere and in all things so Jesus the Man is also everywhere and in all things. Yet the Father being everywhere does not help us much does it. The Father is in our heart!! The Throne of God is our heart. Word proceeds from the Throne – our heart.
Jesus is the Word that was made flesh–a human being– who dwelt among them in the first century…But!! Jesus is the Word of God who is made OUR FLESH and dwells in us by faith right here and now. Therefore we are the express image of His person and the brightness of His glory. Not because we are anything of ourselves, but because Jesus is the substance of who we are.
We are life giving spirits because Jesus is one spirit with us.(1Cor6:17) We are the body of God Who wants with all His heart to be seen and known by all creation. God being spirit is invisible and thus needs a body to dwell in. You are that body. You are the visible flesh of God! You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. You are the hands and feet and heart and eyes and ears of God.
You are a human being-either man or woman- a member of Mankind, ie Man.
What is Man?
Gen 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Gen 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Man(male and female) is the image and likeness of God. Man is the creation of God. Man is created to be the image and visible manifestation of God.
What is God?
God is Love; God is Life; God is Spirit–life giving spirit. Thus Man is the body and person in which God can love and serve His creation.
God does not dominate- but subdues through love, winning the heart through meekness of wisdom and compassion and mercy.
Unfortunately most think God is a dictator who forces everyone to dance to His tune. But this is not the Father but Satan the god of this world system. Again, unfortunately most of the Church also think God is a dictator who will cast into a literal burning fire for ever and ever the souls of those who do not please Him.
There is only One God and Jesus Christ the Word of God sent forth from God.
Jesus is a Man — whose Life is a perfect union with God the Father.
Without Jesus no one can know God for Jesus made God known by being Himself–A Man serving in meekness and humility.
We are also made like Jesus – indwelt by Him fully, so that we too reveal the Father by simply being ourselves. The self that we are is Christ Jesus and us as one life.
Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
The true picture of a human is seen in this amazing verse. Perfect union of two persons. Christ living in me, with me, as me. Me living in Him, with Him as Him.
1Jn 4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
We are AS HE IS.
How is Jesus?
Why, He is One with the Father in all ways.
Then so are we for we are as He is– NOW, in this life in this world.
Joh 14:18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
Joh 14:19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.
Joh 14:20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
Jesus the Man is a life giving spirit–but still a Man. He is omnipresent and omniscient yet still “only” a Man. This Man who alone possesses immortality and Who dwells in unapproachable light, fill us full with Himself.
For He said above, that we are to know through experience and by faith, that He is in the Father and the Father is ion Him and He in us.
Jesus in the Father..Word in the Father. Word of the Father. Word from the Father..Word of Life..Word of His power….That Word NOW dwells in us, made flesh in us, in our body, soul and spirit. That same Jesus has appeared in us to give the knowledge of God through our unveiled face.
If we say that we are not like God our face is still veiled. But when one turns to the Lord THE VEIL IS REMOVED, is taken out of the way..and we see Him as He is. We see God when we look in the mirror. It is our face but it is also the Face of God just as much.
The face of God in the face of Jesus in our face. Jesus in Father, Father in Jesus, Jesus in us.
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Receive Him today as your life…for He has received you as His dwelling place.
Receive the truth that you are as He is.
He could do nothing of Himself- NOTHING. He lived by the Life of the Father as One with His life.
You are also able to do NOTHING of yourself but live by the life of the one who indwells you.
By speaking those things that are true of Jesus as your own story you are making manifest what already is your true condition but is hidden from view.
I am the Word of God which He is speaking. I am the will of the Father. I am the body of God and His hands and feet. I am the word made flesh revealing the Father to all creation. I share the same heart with the Father for Jesus is my only Life. I am a Man.
