Eph 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
Jesus HIMSELF is our peace. Feelings may convince you that you have no peace- Rest in Jesus my friend. Declare to your self that Jesus is your peace. Jesus dwells in your spirit and is even ONE spirit with you. He is your permanent abiding peace that cannot be shaken.
You may not feel peace when faced with trouble, but you DO have Him as your inner peace.
Faith says, “I have Jesus – I have Peace!” Leave the rest up to God. It is a case of stand (on the Word)and see the salvation of your God. His Peace is Himself and He will fight for you.
The Accuser of the brethren spends all of his time niggling away at us to try to convince us we are wrong in our relationship with God. But my friend God has made us right with Him through the blood sacrifice of Jesus and our inner union with Him.
One of the ways the Accuser operates is to use people to point the finger at you. Those who are self accused absolutely hate it when they meet someone who is resting in the righteousness of Jesus. They will attempt to pull you out of the rest that is yours by faith to the low level of trying to be righteous by doing. Do not be moved by it brethren, Jesus Himself is your Righteousness and Peace.
Jesus Himself is enough and you have Him…you do not need to add anything to Him.
Rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh.
Php 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!
Php 3:3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh,
Paul warned us to beware of those who try to get us to incorporate aspects of Law keeping to our faith. They want us to get born again, but after that to keep the Law of Moses in order to qualify for God’s inheritance. All that this will do is to DISQUALIFY you, for the Promises of God are all ours by faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
Those who are trying to measure up to the Law as a standard of behaviour are trusting in the flesh. Jesus has already qualified you- accept Him daily as your righteousness and holiness and your peace. Tell the Devil to take a hike!
We are those who God has chosen. We are that Good land flowing with milk and honey. We are that city set on a hill. We are the new Jerusalem adorned like a pure virgin having made ourselves ready for Jesus. How did we make ourselves ready? By faith alone. Do not be moved by the Accuser my friend…his accusing voice shall soon be silenced for ever.
Those who belong to Jesus know the joyful sound that proceeds out of their spirit where heaven is found. Sing the song of the Lamb all day long – His blood has cleansed you and you are found having Jesus as your only righteousness and peace.
