I used to live inside the closed Door but through a time of defeat and failure in my life I agreed with the liar and came out of the Door. I agreed with the lie that I needed to get things right in my life. I agreed that although Jesus’ death took away my sin, I still had to fix up many things in my life. And of course as soon as I took my eyes off the Truth, a never ending amount of things pop up to be “dealt with.”
So I have been writing about pulling out stones and roots and all that for the past months. But I am finished with that. The flesh goes on being the flesh and if we look at it instead of Jesus in us, we will try to change it. Today I cease that by the grace of God.
My words are ended. What I mean by that is :
Dennis Rhodes was writing out of a mindset of being separated from Jesus by his sins. This is how most Christians live and think. Those words are ended. The truth is Dennis Rhodes died on the cross, then rose up to newness of life in and with Jesus Christ. It is no longer Dennis as if he is separated from Jesus, it is Dennis and Jesus as ONE PERSON walking in all the fullness of God, holy, pure and righteous for Dennis only has one nature – Jesus nature!
That is the Faith handed down to all the saints. We can receive it and walk in His rest or we can reject it and try to fix ourselves so that we can ONE DAY walk in union with Him properly…IF we somehow manage to evict all the evil things that still dwell in us. This is a denial of the work of Jesus. I have repented of that view and my previous writings on roots and stones.
As long as we keep looking at our perceived problems we are setting our mind upon the flesh and Paul says there is no peace there only Death.
The rest and restoration have come to us already if we choose to receive it. Jesus Christ in us IS the rest we can enjoy by faith.

Jesus said
Mat 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Mat 11:30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” nkjv
