Being weak makes you just like Jesus.
Being Human makes you just like Jesus.
Weak humans reveal the glory of God to all creation and set creation free.
The weak know they cannot save anyone
The weak know they can do nothing of themselves
The weak gladly cleave to God and forsake any trust in their own resources.
Jesus could do nothing of Himself….think about that.
Jesus could not heal a headache…
Jesus could not love little children
Jesus could not do anything of His own self.
Then how did He do anything?
Through union with Father.
Full and complete union requires a full merging of persons–one into the other….and vice versa.
The Father in Jesus and Jesus in the Father. In this way The Father did the works…with Jesus…as Jesus.
And so it is with you dear believer.
For Jesus is in the Father and you are in Jesus and Jesus is in you.
Father is in Jesus and Jesus is in Father…and Jesus is in you, and you are in Jesus.
This is real and literal and complete.
All your weakness makes no difference at all—for Jesus links you to Father inside of yourself.
The one who is strong in himself has no need for God.
The Lord has chosen the poor to be rich in faith.
God has chosen the weak to confound the mighty.
Unless you become like little children…..?
As for me–Dennis Rhodes?
I am very weak. I am very poor in and of my own self….thus I receive Jesus into my heart to live fully inside me –as me–in all my weakness and humanness. Jesus and I are one. If you have seen me, you have seen the Father, for the Father dwells in me inside Jesus….and I dwell in Jesus inside Father.
I don’t worry about my life. Jesus IS MY LIFE…the only life I exist inside of, and which animates me. Jesus is my new heart….and I am His body and soul. We are totally one…joined as one….you cannot tell where I begin and Jesus begins….
There is no Oh, that was just Dennis…but that was Jesus. Nope.
Union with Jesus means that everything we are and do is Jesus being Himself as us.
I AM. He is. WE ARE.
Read the bolded phrases my friend and be in awe of what God has done in you.
1Jn 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
1Jn 4:13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.
1Jn 4:15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
1Jn 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
1Jn 4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
