Love’s Exchange

This post delves into the exchange God wrought when Jesus took you and me into Himself giving His own self story to us as our own self story if we are willing to receive it. Gal 2:20 I am crucified…

Righteous now by exchange

Just as I wrote in the previous post on Romans 6:8 that we live with God now not in some distant future after we have died….so again I want to look at another verse which my brethren put off to…

Is Christ the end of the Law?

“Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to those who believe.” Let me say clearly so that you are not left thinking the wrong thing..Jesus Christ did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it. It…

He saved others

This is just a quick little blog about the Life that we have in us. The Life that we have received is the Life of Jesus the Messiah. His Life is not something separate from Himself. He is The Life….

Everything belongs to God

A wonderful brother from Europe asked a question of me back on the 6th May which I feel was done to stir our mutual faith up…Here is his question in italics and then my response. The past few months I…

What am I really saying?

It may seem like some sort of new age teaching to many who read my writings. Such is the revolution in the revelation given to Paul the Apostle. The natural man does not receive the things of the spirit for…

Enmity Abolished

Jesus was a Peacemaker. Literally. He took Jew and Gentile into Himself when He hung upon the cross and made One New Man from the two.

The purpose of the commandment

It is quite laughable to me that we could think that Paul is referring here to the old testament commandments producing these things in verse five. But so many in the church of Jesus Christ teach exactly that. They take this one verse out of it’s context because they see the word “commandment” and link it back to old testament law.

Stop trying to be holy

He did not make us righteous so that we would turn around and say, ‘Thanks Lord, I am righteous so now I am going to try really hard to stay righteous’. No! We are made righteous and holy so we can REST from all our self effort.

Established by the Gospel 2

Any farmer knows that if he is to plant fruit trees, he needs to nurture them until they get established, otherwise they will not survive the harsh cold of winter, or the burning heat of summer. 2Co 1:21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,nkjv Our Father

Established by the Gospel

We are living in dangerous times and the message of doom is always preached to us by the world. Impending disasters and wars, diseases, economic collapse, persecution, cataclysmic weather events and seismic events all threaten us. In Bible days the young Church faced the same kinds of pressures and threats as we do today.

Encouragement from Colossians

Col 2:6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, Col 2:7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. NKJV I want to ask- HOW did you receive Christ Jesus your Lord? By Faith right?

Are we righteous enough?

I normally write from the perspective of oneness with Jesus Christ, in all that He is I am….however that is strong meat. God wants us to journey with Him in our understanding and faith. We are free to camp where…
