Does many mean all?

It is amazing how the blinkers blind us from what the Bible clearly says. When we have preconceived ideas about God’s Salvation we have already decided how many people are going to be saved. Yet Scripture clearly tells us that…

This is the fifth part in a series: The destructive effects of Hell teachings by Dennis Rhodes. It’s about time the church of Jesus Christ stood up and said enough to the blasphemous message of eternal punishment in a literal…

Be You

Help someone else today not because you heard a voice say to do it, but because you want to do it. This is normal Christian living. Jesus comes to live in us and to be us in all we do….

The purpose of the commandment

It is quite laughable to me that we could think that Paul is referring here to the old testament commandments producing these things in verse five. But so many in the church of Jesus Christ teach exactly that. They take this one verse out of it’s context because they see the word “commandment” and link it back to old testament law.

The Law is for sinners

In this passage Paul lays out many things against those who are going astray and he uses the words like: charge, commandment, law, lawfully, command. We are normally told that Paul is exhorting us to keep with the old testament commandments but it is the opposite that Paul is teaching to believers. Let’s look into this chapter to see what is going on…

Ages to come

In the last post on this topic I looked at the change of ownership that has happened inside of the believer so that we are turned right way up no longer serving the lusts of the flesh. I looked at …

(Click diagram to enlarge) One would hope that the swings out to the left and the right would get shorter and shorter in time and strength. That we would live in Him

A yoke of bondage

As we grow in Christ we are learning to walk by faith and to not be entangled again in the bondage of the Law. In the early days of the Church of Jesus Christ there were some believers who were…

Are you a “good” Christian

Are you a good Christian? What is a good Christian? Well most would say that a good Christian is someone whose life is patterned after Jesus Christ. They help the poor, they pray, they go to church regularly, they tithe to the Church, they give offerings to missions, they are good people. Is that it?

Encouragement from Colossians

Col 2:6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, Col 2:7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. NKJV I want to ask- HOW did you receive Christ Jesus your Lord? By Faith right?

Are we righteous enough?

I normally write from the perspective of oneness with Jesus Christ, in all that He is I am….however that is strong meat. God wants us to journey with Him in our understanding and faith. We are free to camp where…
